In Algeria, floods in urban areas are frequently caused by evacuation networks that do not work properly. The municipality of Ouled Antar, located in the Wilaya of Medea, suffers problems related to its sanitation system because inadequate management. Several neighborhoods have old collectors with small diameters to drain rainwater, which leads to flooding when it rains heavily. The objective of this study is to determine the challenges of the current sewerage network, perform an exhaustive diagnosis and collect data, examine the capacity of the network to manage water during the expansion of the city. The study also aims at proposing a new network that will be more efficient in order to optimize the management of wastewater and rainwater throughout the cityen_US
