dc.description.abstract	This master thesis presents a bibliographic synthesis of the different roughness calculation formulas found from Chezy to the present day. They have been classified in chronological order. A comparative analysis of these formulas has been highlighted and an application has been made using the HEC-RAS software for a simple channel and a compound channel. This highlighted the complexity of roughness in compound channels, and the errors that can be caused by treating them as a simple channel.	en_US
