Abstract

Our study area, located in the western part of the commune of THENIET EL HAD, (W. TISSEMSILT), consists of residential neighborhoods that have experienced significant expansion recently. The problem is that they use the wadis as outlets for sewage, which has led to environmental pollution and increased the risk of the spread of serious and contagious diseases among the residents. The objective of this study is to eliminate all points of random sewage discharge into the wadis and direct them to the treatment plant located at the northern entrance of the commune of Theniet El Had. To carry out this process, it is necessary to secure all these points and transfer this water through a two-phase system : the first using gravity pipelines and the second using pumping stations and pressure pipelines.
