Protection contre les inondations de la région d'Es-Sebt (w. Skikda)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to protect the town of ES SEBT SKIKDA against floods caused by river flooding Chaabat LAKHALIA. We began our project with a presentation of our town. After that we moved to generalities about flood, and a hydrological study of our watershed to determine water flow of probable growth with two methods. In the first one we used empirical formulas, in the other we used a rain-flow modelisation with HEC HMS. Finally the variant adopted was discussed in detail with the determination of cost and period of project implementation.
