The drinking water distribution network deteriorates over time, which can lead to leaks that cause considerable water losses. In this thesis we have illustrated the different structures of drinking water distribution networks and identify the main indicators that allow to evaluate the state of a drinking water network and present the measures that must be taken to protect these networks and improve their operation, which remains one of the main actions to provide good quality water, in sufficient quantity, at an adequate pressure, and continuously.en_US
