Abstract

This submission concerns the study of reinforcement of khenchla's earth-fill dam using a piano keys weir (Pk-Weir) to increase the discharge capacity of the original spillway. The weir piano keys (Pk-Weir) represents a new optimum development solution to increase the discharge capacity of the weir and to confer additional security to the dike against all contingencies submersion or dam failure already existing This study includes maintenance and the dam auscultation system.
