dc.description.abstractWithin the framework of the national strategy aimed at preserving water resource, the Algerian state works to store the largest quantity of water. Therefore, the National Agency for dams and transfers studies and builds the largest possible number of dams and small dams. This work considers these facilities in terms of accurate estimate of the engineering requirements and choice of sites and study all the accessories and surroundings. We have made a study of a dam in the State of Setif – city Beni Hocine - for the irrigation of 150 hectares. We studied topographical, geological and hydrological aspects of the models in order to determine the ideal model for the body of the dam and check its stability. To complete the study, We organized the workshop and the protection and security of work accidents.en_US
