Abstract: In recent years, the use of remote sensing and SIG has become widespread. Experts use it as a tool for very accurate research and monitoring of various phenomena on the earth's surface, including monitoring of climate change phenomena, involving agriculture, water resources and other areas. In this work, we decided to shed light on the application of remote sensing in the field of drinking water supply by demonstrating two modern technologies. These technologies will enrich this field by providing effective alternative methods to detect cracks in drinking water supply and distribution networks, in addition to facilitating the study of projects and reducing delivery times.
