Abstract: Dams are hydraulic structures required to accumulate water that can be used in various domains, within the framework of the national strategy which aims at preserving water resources, considering the remarkable lack of drinking water supply as dedicated to the agricultural market in the Willaya of Tieret, the study that we carried out in this thesis is devoted to the possibility of the establishment of a stopping on Yassel river in the area of Djillali Ben Amer. This work concerns the ability of creating a tank dam from a geological, hydrological and economic point of view, intended to satisfy the demand for drinking water and that of the irrigation. The feasibility study consists in studying the alternatives, to find which the most adequate alternative of the dam enables us to choose, after we checked its stability, it asks to dimension the additional works (spillway, temporary diversion, water intake and outlet works). Regarding the realization, we prepared an explanatory note containing the various stages of calculation.
