Etude des variantes de la digue du barrage Koudiat Haricha (w.Guelma)

Abstract

The present work deals with the variants of the Koudiat Haricha dam on wad Cherf (wilaya of Guelma). This dam is designed to satisfy the water supply needs, of the region and at the same time to irrigate neighboring agricultural land. After a thorough geological and hydrological study, we designed a structure with a height of 88 meters and a capacity of 38 million cubic meters, along a ridge length of about 500 meters, and a stability study on the variant adopted according to the building materials available in terms of quantity and quality.
