Etude de protection de la vallée des jardins contre les inondations (w.Mostaganem)

Abstract

The objective of this study is to protect the valley of the gardens W. MOSTAGANEM from flooding caused by overflowing of the rainwater drainage network. Climatic and watershed characteristics are important elements of the hydrological study to calculate the amount of precipitation and the corresponding flow to obtain the flow that causes the flood. The diagnosis of the terrain and the simulation of the hydraulic operation of the canals enabled us to identify anomalies and assess the vulnerability of the area. We have proposed, according to the leaflet of this diagnosis, solutions which have been the subject of a technical-economic study to decide which variant is the best and most suitable. Finally, the chosen variant is dealt with in detail with the determination of the cost and the duration of the project.
