The siltation is the result of two processes, erosion and sediment transport that occur because of restraint and watershed level, therefore the knowledge of the characteristics of the latter become necessary before the study of the reservoir itself, The present study belongs to the general topic to raise the Benziane Dam (W.MEDEA) which is affected by this phenomenon. The choice of the most adequate alternative to the dam resizing and its stability verification were made after a deepened study of the various phases (geological, hydrological and topographic). For the realization, we prepared an explanatory note containing the various stages of calculation.en_US
