The locality of Oued Merzoug in Tipasa is the main watercourse that crosses the study area. This watercourse is the origin of floods generated by intense rainfall and can be considered as a natural polluted environment because of the different wastewater discharges on the banks of the wadi coming from neighbouring localities. Our work aims to make a study of protection against floods and overflows at the level of the banks of the wadi especially for the neighbouring localities and to propose a system of protection and cleansing in all the zone of study, in order to eliminate the wastewater discharges which are poured at the level of the wadi. The study will focus on four parts: the first is a hydrological study for a proper assessment of flood flows of different return periods. Secondly, the new sewerage system, and thirdly, using the software HEC RAS we will make a hydraulic modelling of the current state of the site and in the fourth part scenario is to model the proposed work and test the effectiveness of new system.en_US
