Etude des variantes de la digue du barrage ourkis (w.Oum El bouaghi)

Abstract

In the frame of the conservation of surface water ressoureces in Algeria, especially in Oum El Bouaghi city , the National Agency of Dams and Transfers has proposed to realize a dam of wadi Ourkis in order to increase the capacity of water supplies and to meet the needs of irrigation perimeters in the region. Therefore, The objective of this study that discusses Ourkis dam variants is to clarify the different geological and hydrological aspects of the next site of the dam, to fix the kind of the dam, to receive and check its stability.
