Abstract

As part of the national strategy for the promotion of the water sector, which consists in the mobilization of water resources, the National Agency for Dams and Transfer (ANBT) has developed a policy for the construction of dams and reservoirs in the hills mobilization of surface water in order to exploit it optimally and rationally for the irrigation of agricultural surfaces. In the present work, we realized the study of a hilly reservoir in the town of W.GUELMA. The construction of this structure will allow irrigation of an agricultural area of around 15 ha. To achieve this objective, it is imperative to check all the favorable geological, hydrological and topographical conditions, then a choice of the most suitable type of dam and the type and detail of ancillary works, which will ensure a safe operation throughout the duration of operation of the work
