Abstract

Committed to improving the strategies and actions, adapted to the socio-economic and climate condition of the region, and in accordance with its quality assurance plan and the state policy for the water resources management, the National Agency of Dams and Transfers in charge of dams rehabilitation and reinforcement projects in Algeria found it essential to conduct a study that aims to rehabilitate the Cheurfas dam which serves to supply the SIG region with its drinking water and irrigation needs. It is within this context that this dissertation study aims to establish a diagnosis of the anomalies and the damages that had occurred in order to provide appropriate solutions ensuring the dam's proper operation and its stability
