Abstract

When building a dam, ancillary structures must be planned for the protection and operation of the dam. Our end-of-study project contributes to the sizing of the ancillary structures of the ZAOUIA dam on the wadi of STITA the wilaya of Tizi Ouzou, the sizing of these structures was based on the topographical and geological conditions of the site, as well as the hydrology of the basin. pouring. This allows us to propose scenarios that include several variants in order to choose the right projection according to the technico-economic study. Two variants of the spillway were studied and then we opted for the lateral variant with lateral funneling. The temporary diversion was projected through the dike and an intake tower integrated into the body of the dam.
