Etude de conception des ouvrages annexes du barrage rekhouche sur Oued Rekhouche (w. Khenchela)

Abstract

The present work aims at dimensioning the auxiliary structures of the Rekhouche dam on Wadi Rekhouche (Wilaya of Khenchela) taking into consideration the spillway adequate to allow the passage of floods through the dam by controlling the maximum levels reached by the dam and ensuring the safety of property and people living downstream, the intake tower, the bottom drain as well as the temporary diversion. To do this, we had to define all the parameters: geomorphological, climatic and hydrological of the watershed of the dam site. Two variants of the spillway were studied and then we opted for the one with the lower cost. The temporary bypass was projected through the dam and a catch tower integrated into the body of the dam.
