Etude d'aménagement hydraulique d'oued Tissiar ville d'Akbou (w. Béjaia)

Abstract

The risk of flooding is one of the natural phenomena raging in Algeria, recent statistical studies established by the civil protection show that many towns are at risk of being flooded. For this, it is essential to put in place flood prevention plans in areas deemed vulnerable. It is within this framework that this study falls within the scope of the main objective of the development of oued Tissiar, in the municipality of Akbou, located in the wilaya of Bejaia. In this context, a detailed hydrological study was carried out in order to be able to make a precise determination of the flood flows. The results of the technico-economic study made it possible to retain a variant with a mixed trapezoidal reinforced concrete channel upstream of the wadi for the first two sections with 2m high and 5m wide and in gabion downstream of the wadi for the last three sections, 2.5m high and 5m wide.
