dc.description.abstractThe wadi of Lakhal is the main tributary crossing the town of Sour el Ghozlane, Bouira. In addition, it contains several other tributaries ranging from medium to large. These rivers are a source of flooding caused by the annual heavy rains that characterize the region. The objective of our study is to estimate the flood water level for each river, to study natural watercourses reaction, to produce the floodplain map by the using the following softwares: HEC-RAS, Hec GEO-RAS, ArcGIS in order to study the variants proposed on the technical-economy scale for each section and to choose the most appropriate solutions, technically, economically and aesthetically. Finally, a stability study is carried out for the variants selected by the GeoStudio program and the cost and time required to complete this project are determineden_US
