Etude de protection de la ville de Debdeb contre les inondations (w. IllizI)

Abstract

This dissertation presents a complete technical study of wadi Debdeb (Illizi), in order to protect the town of Debdeb against seasonal floods. In this context, a hydrological study was performed to estimate the flows that can affect the studied area. To reduce this phenomenon, a flood map was elaborated using Hec-Ras and Google Earth. Then, a set of measures were proposed for the Debdeb Wadi adjustment. Based on the technical and economic studies, we tried to realize bank protection against erosion of the wadi embankments by the construction of gabion walls, and structures for flow regulation at the wadi bed by the thresholds so as to evacuate the flood waters without dangers.
