Abstract

This study is intended to be a contribution to the resolution of the problem of flooding from the AIN EDDIS BOUSSAADA air base, in the wilaya of M’Sila. For this it becomes necessary to propose an effective arrangement in order to limit the damage. the main objective is to provide development solutions for the Boussaada wadi which are part of the field of flood control and protection. To do this, it was essential to analyze the maximum daily precipitation and determine the flow rate of the 100-year flood, which formed the database used for hydraulic modeling of the watercourse using the HEC-RAS software. A description of the layout variants was proposed and allowed to choose the most interesting variant from a technical and economic point of view and which relates to the trapezoidal concrete channel.
