Abstract: The aim of this study is to project an irrigation network across Bouroumi dam, for the agricultural perimeter of the part one of the western Mitidja, state of Blida, that extends over a surface of 500 ha. The estimation of water requirements is a basic element for any irrigation system sizing. For this, a general and detailed study of the area has been made concerning: climate, soil nature and water resources. Agriculture is the most important consumer of water resources in which the greatest water savings can be achieved by using more efficient irrigation technologies such as: the drip irrigation and spray irrigation, which were used in this study.
