dc.description.abstractThe objective of this study is to protect the city of T’kout (BATNA) against floods caused by the over flow of wadi CHENNAOURA. This phenomenon increases in recent years; it becomes necessary to provide an effective wadi management in order to limit the damage as much as possible. In this context, several axes have been studied: the detailed description of area to understand the generation of flow and transfer to the downstream, the analysis of maximum daily precipitation and determining the design flow rate, and draw up flood risk maps and management plans for these areas using four proposed variants. The most suitable variant from a technical and economic point of view was selected.en_US
