Abstract: The Sediment dynamics of the mouthpiece of the valley El Harrach represents a complex issue from a perspective of the ecosystem and biodiversity very degraded therein. This valley whose rejection is particularly affected by the conditions of water turbidity and deposits of vases. The “turbidity maximum” is the seat of an area to maximum concentration of suspended matter, resulting in a buildup of pollutants and purposes that may cause anoxic conditions during low flow periods. The work presented in this paper is a contribution to the understanding of this process by a study using a numerical model coupling hydrosedimentary modeling in two modes: two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) for the study area of the mouthpiece of the valley El Harrach. To do this, we advocate the numerical simulation model hydrosedimentary: MIKE_21 (2D) and MIKE_3 (3D).
