Abstract

The aim of this study is to project un irrigation network across Zit Emba dam, for the agricultural perimeter of Zit Emba, city of Skikda, that extends over a surface of 380 ha. The estimation of water requirements is a basic element for any irrigation system sizing. For this a general and detailed study of the area has been made concerning: climate, soil nature and water resources. Agriculture is the most important consumer of water resources in which the greatest water savings can be achieved by using more efficient irrigation technologies such as: the drip irrigation and spray irrigation, which were used in this study
