The city of Béchar has huge hydroagricultural, mining and tourism potentialities, which have not yet been developed because of lack of water resources. Groundwater resources are limited and hydrology of the region is characterized by irrigular flows and violent floods that cause particularly destructive floods characterize the hydrology of the region. The construction of reservoir dams in Igli aims to develop hydraulic potential and meet the regions’ drinking water needs The present study focus on the study of the Igli Dam variants and the dimensioning of the elements of the structure supported by the regulation, infiltration and slope stability calculations .en_US
