This work aims to study the purification performance of Bou-Ismail station by verifying the quality of the treated wastewater between the entrance and exit of the station. For this, we proceeded to the study of the evolution of physico-chemical and bacteriological parameters. The purification system used is the biological process known as activated sludge at low load. This system ensures the elimination of carbonaceous matter by aeration and nitrogenous matter by nitrification and denitrification. The sludge treatment is ensured by thickening and mechanical dehydration. They have been characterized with a view to be reused in irrigation, for watering green spaces, etc., and for preserving the receiving environment and the coast.en_US
