The objective of our work is to do a comparison between two treatment techniques; the low load activated sludge and aerated lagooning to dimension a wastewater treatment in order to treat domestic wastewater of Mers El Kebir (C.Oran). Indeed, the wastewater from this agglomeration is discharged directly into natural environment, which causes critical problems. Finally, a theoretical and a technical study has been carried out. Our choice was for the low load activated sludge process that is the most suitable in our area.en_US
