The discharges of wastewater from the industrial zone of the city of Bordj Bou Arreridj without prior treatment poses a serious threat to the environment and the public health, for which a wastewater treatment plant design has been proposed to limit the risks and use it for irrigation. The treatment techniques used include pre-treatment of the effluent, a physico-chemical treat-ment by coagulation-flocculation and physical decantation, a secondary treatment by the tech-nique of an immersed membrane bioreactor with an upstream anoxia basin and finally a treat-ment of the sludge produced by thickening, anaerobic digestion and band filtrsen_US
