Abstract: Water stress has been a concern of people around the world for decades. The solution that has been adopted to preserve water resources is the reuse of treated wastewater, treatment and then reuse. This alternative is used mainly in the agricultural sector. In order to be able to reuse this water, it must be treated to meet the standards set by WHO ‘World Health Organization’. Therefore, the application of membrane techniques in the treatment of wastewater gives better qualities than the conventional "activated sludge" treatment, and meets the most stringent requirements. The goal of my thesis is the analysis of wastewater from the El Karma treatment plant (W.ORAN), the study of the parameters that characterize them (BDO, DCO, MES ...), and then the installation of a bioreactor with a 'MBRs' submerged membrane in an aeration basin of the wastewater treatment plant in order to improve the quality of the water discharged. Finally, the subsequent reuse of this purified wastewater for the irrigation of the Mleta perimeter
