dc.description.abstractn Algeria, urban expansions and overpopulation, especially in major cities, have led to an increase in pollution-related issues. That is why, in recent years, authorities have invested in the construction of urban wastewater treatment plants. Our current project aims to design and size the facilities of an activated sludge wastewater treatment plant with a low load for the city of BOUINAN, located in the BLIDA province with a treatment capacity of 667,154 population equivalents for the year 2053. The primary objective of this initiative is to preserve the natural environment, particularly the receiving OUED, protect public health, and establish a system for using treated water for irrigation purposes.en_US
