In light of the current water stress situation in Algeria, there is a pressing need to explore new water sources to meet the country's demands, especially in the agriculturally intensive sector. In this study, a performance evaluation of the Sidi Ali Lebhar water treatment plant was conducted to assess the quality of the treated water and determine its suitability for irrigation in areas near Béjaïa airport. This may require additional treatment to ensure water quality, and we also aim to ascertain if this water source will meet the needs of our target area. We have proposed appropriate disinfection methods to enhance water quality, along with solutions aimed at meeting agricultural needs.en_US
