dc.description.abstractOur study is based on the project for extending the sewage network in the southwestern part of Draâ ben Khedda commune (Oued Falli POS), and its connection to the existing network. Following our analysis, we found that the sewage and rainwater drainage system will be of a combined type with a lateral layout. The sanitation network will be developed according to the proposed development plan. We have chosen to use circular PVC pipes for the Ø315, Ø400 and Ø500 diameter collectors, and reinforced concrete pipes for the Ø600, Ø800 and Ø1000 diameter collectors. All discharges will be evacuated at a single point by gravity without the need for a lift. An ovoid sewer (2.10×1.20) located on Chemin de Wilaya 128 to the north of the perimeter collects wastewater and stormwater to an existing 100,000 population equivalent wastewater treatment plant located downstream of the study areaen_US
