dc.description.abstract | This project involves the establishment of a station for purifying industrial wastewater generated from the primary material production unit for the manufacturing of paper cleaning products in the industrial area of the state of Setif, with a daily capacity of 480 cubic meters. This work is carried out with the aim of preserving the environment, protecting public health, and also for the purpose of reusing this valuable resource. This study comprises two main parts. The first part relates to the study of the characteristics of sewage water and its treatment methods. The results of the analyses obtained have shown that these waters contain multiple pollutants. The second part is concerned with the design of the station using moving bed biofilm reactor system after a comparative study with the use of the activated sludge method. It has been found that this system is effective in treating water pollution and complies with Algerian standards. The cost of this project is estimated at approximately twelve million Algerian dinars )12,000,000.00 DZD(. | en_US |
