In Algeria, urban sprawl and population density, especially in major cities, have witnessed a noticeable increase. This has led to significant environmental problems, including pollution issues. For this reason, in recent years, the authorities have invested in projects to establish sewage treatment plants using activated sludge technology. Our current work aims to diagnose the wastewater treatment plant in the Chlef province to ensure its proper operation and to develop a strategy for utilizing the plant’s water for irrigation purposes.en_US
