The volume of water used in the Chatia region of Chlef province, which is discharged into rivers and seas, has been increasing. This negative situation has had serious implications for the health of citizens and has led to the exacerbation of environmental pollution. The aim of this work is to study the possibility of using this water in various areas, including agriculture and car washing, as well as determining the size of a sewage treatment plant using activated sludge. This work aims to protect the environment from the risks of direct discharge of these waters into natureen_US
