Etude d'aménagement d'Oued Tifrest pour la protection de la ville d'Azzefoun contre les inondations (w. Tizi Ouzou)

Abstract

This work aims to study the Tifrest wadi located in the city of Azeffoun wilaya of Tizi-Ouzou. The main purpose is the development of this wadi for protection against floods. Our study includes several fundamental parts; in the first place, a presentation of the study area was detailed. Subsequently generalities on floods were given, followed by a hydrological study to feel the flood flows. In a second place we provide a diagnosis of the main problems of the wadi imposed on the site, with the aim of making a pre-selection of the variants, then we came up with a feasible project which seems to be the most adapted to guarantee the protection of the municipality against floods and the integration of these under-equipped neighborhoods in the urban fabric. Finally, we determine the duration and the cost of this project.
