Abstract

The objective of this study is to develop the hydro-agriculture of the El Taref perimeter (northern sector), located in the wilaya of EL Taref. The analysis of climatological, pedological and agronomic data allowed us to define the crops to be introduced and the amount of water required, in order to design the adequate supply system. The aim of the sprinkler irrigation technique is to modernize the distribution system and increase crop yields, and therefore make the perimeter development project beneficial in the medium and long terms.
