Etude d'un aménagement de protection contre les inondation de oued Chaaba commune oued Chaaba (w. Batna)

Abstract

Each year the heavy rainfall in the region of Chaaba wilaya Batna causes overflows at Oued Chaaba. It becomes a necessity to sort out an effective management of the watercourse as for this phenomenon is the reason for a massive human and material damage. The objective of our study is to estimate the water level of the river's flooding by adopting the Gradex method, as well as modeling the natural watercourses and make a map for the flood zones by HEC-RAS software. To come up with a best technico-economic solution.
