Etude de protection contre les inondations de la zone Ouest de ville de L'Eulma (w. Sétif)

Abstract

Our work focuses on the protection against floods the western zone of the town EL EULMA Wilaya of Sétif. These floods are caused by the different wadis "ABDERHAIME, GELTA EL ZARGA, GELTA KHEMAMSSA, and AIN DJENBA". This phenomenon presents a great danger to the inhabitants and especially to the farmers, that led us to propose a system of landscaping of the rivers. In this context, we have used several disciplines. First, we have established a hydrological study for the analysis of precipitations and the quantification of flows. Then, a topographic and hydraulic study for the simulation with the HEC-RAS software. And finally, the description of the proposed landscaping options to choose the most suitable one based on a technical and economic point of view.
