Aménagement de l'Oued Metlagh pour la protection de la ville de Beida Bordj (w. Sétif)

Abstract

The target of this study is to protect Beida bordj city (W.Sétif) from floods caused by the overflow of Oued Metlagh. The stady has been done by determining the climatic and topographic characteristics of the watershed. The second part is devoted to the hydrological study to determine the centennial flows. The diagnosis of the field and simulation of hydraulic functioning in a natural state of river with HEC-RAS have helped us to identify the anomalies and determine the various parameters of hydraulic outflow. According to this diagnostic we have proposed solutions that have been the subject of a techno-economic study.
