Etude d'aménagement hydro-agricole du périmètre Guerguit Sfiha à partir d'un forage (wilaya de Khenchela)

Abstract

The objective of this project is to prepare a detailed study about the development of an irrigation scheme of 17,000 hectares in the Nememcha desert, south of the wilaya of Khenchela. We have studied the water requirements of the crops to ensure their growth correctly and efficiently without loss of water. Indeed, after having analyzed the natural conditions of the area: (climate-soil-water) we have planned a system of supply from the underground water of the realized boreholes. Therefore, after a multi-criteria analysis of the irrigation systems, we projected two most efficient irrigation techniques: the pivot and the drip. These two techniques allow better irrigation efficiency and the increase of crop yields, especially in arid areas such as the south of the province of Khenchela.
