Abstract

In regions with an arid climate, the success of agriculture depends on the use of the irrigation sector and the proper rationing of water resources. Indeed, the developement of this sector is certainly linked to the design, implementation of equipment and the use of means of exploitation of groundwater sources. The aim of this thesis is the development of an irrigation network of 100 ha through the agricultural perimeter oued nimel which is located in the city of ghardaia. This study was based on natural factors (climatology, pedology and water resources) in order to characterize and better develop the potential of the area studied, thanks to the use of modern irrigation systems that ensure water saving.
