Etude de faisabilité du barrage de Sidi Khelifa (w. Tizi Ouzou)

Abstract

The project aims to carry out a feasibility study for the construction of a dam on the Sidi Ahmed Youcef river, in the region of Sidi Khelifa, municipality of Azefoune, wilaya of Tizi Ouzou, in Algeria. The main objective of this dam is to provide drinking water to the surrounding areas and irrigate agricultural lands. The work is organized into seven chapters, covering the analysis of geological and topographical conditions, rainfall and hydrometric data, hydrological and hydraulic studies, flood control, dam sizing, and finally, the description of ancillary structures. In summary, the project aims to assess the viability of dam construction, considering various technical aspects to meet the water needs of the region
