Abstract

The primary objective is to define the management of irrigated areas with the aim of implementing a hydro-agricultural development of the Seklafa perimeter (238 ha) located in the Laghouat province, starting from the Seklafa dam. This approach relies on a comprehensive analysis of climatological, pedagogical, and agronomic studies, enabling well-informed decisions regarding the choice of crops to introduce and determine the water requirements for establishing an appropriate water supply system. The selection of modern irrigation techniques, such as sprinkler and drip irrigation, aims to modernize the distribution system and increase crop yields, ultimately leading to the long-term profitability of the perimeter development project.
