dc.description.abstractThis study examines the issue of flood protection in Oum Thiour, in the state of El Meghaier, by adopting a professional and comprehensive approach. The research process begins with a geomorphological and climatic analysis of the water collection areas related to the project. Subsequently, a detailed hydrological study is conducted to calculate the hydrological flow, essential for determining an optimal protection system for this area. The work relies on a comprehensive approach aimed at fortifying the city against floods by proposing an integrated solution to address current and future challenges. In conclusion, an economic analysis has been carried out to assess implementation costs, ensuring effective and sustainable protection. This study represents a significant contribution in the field of flood protection in Oum Thiour, providing key proposals for decision-makers in professional flood risk management.en_US
