This final thesis focuses on addressing issues related to salt accumulation and the increasing concentration of salts in the palm groves of Rouissat and Benithour, an arid region in the Sahara Desert. By establishing an efficient drainage system, this project aims to remove excess water from the soil, thus promoting agricultural development on 600 hectares of land. It is an initiative aimed at improving water resource management, reducing soil salinity, and reinstating terraced farming practices, which were abandoned due to salinity issues, all while contributing to the sustainable development of the region.en_US
