Résumé: Water resources are overexploited, which has led to a great shortage of water especially
in arid regions. This is why it is necessary to find other solutions to reduce drinking water
consumption such as rainwater collection.
Our objective is to minimize the effects of seasonal variations in water availability due
to droughts and dry periods, avoid overexploitation of resources, especially groundwater, and
improve the reliability of agricultural production.
In this brief, we proceeded first by doing a bibliographic study, then we gave all the
necessary notions concerning the collection of rainwater, and we ended with the design of a
stormwater collection system in the case of an agglomeration and in the case of private
property.

Résumé: This thesis explores the analysis of the correlation between in situ and satellite data to estimate soil moisture in the Mitidja plain. Soil moisture is a crucial parameter for agriculture, water resource management, and understanding ecosystems.
In this study, in situ measurements of soil moisture were collected and compared with satellite data from various sensors. The main objective was to assess the reliability and accuracy of satellite data for estimating soil moisture at different temporal and spatial scales.

Résumé: The region of high Cheliff is one of the areas in Algeria, located in the center of the country and including several municipalities. It is a vital and dynamic region on a national level, experiencing continuous demographic growth.
That’s why, we studied the changes in land use in this area by relying on satellite imagery and geographic information systems.
The retrospective method used is based on the use of supervised methods to identify the soil categories of Haut Cheliff in years 2013, 2018, 2022, to see the evolution of the land use in high Cheliff.

Résumé: Water erosion is a natural phenomenon that poses a serious threat to water and food security, leading to significant economic losses primarily associated with sediment accumulation in reservoirs and decreased soil productivity. The aim of this study is to assess the potential risks of soil erosion in the hydrographic basin of Oued El HARRAZA In northern Algeria using remote sensing and geographic information systems, in order to create a map of soil erosion risks by identifying the factors affecting water erosion.
